Cannot peform dual boot without cd or usb

I got backtrack installed using the guided install off of usb . I want to be able to dual boot BT4 and windows 7 without the use of cd or usb. I am using a Dell Mini 10 and I am having to use the USB with Live to get the boot menu. Is this correct I would like to get the menu without using any external device. Thanks

you need to install backtrack to your hard drive... you can choose a dual boot with windows if you want to. You haven't really posted very much information so i don't really understand what you are trying to do. But if you want to dual boot backtrack and windows use this guide.

I installed Backtrack to a 50gb partition via the install icon from live usb. After the install I still have to use the live usb to get the optional boot menu. Without the usb the machine boots normal to Windows 7. Is there a way to get the boot options without the usb or live cd at boot up. In other words can the bootloader run from the harddrive in which the OS's are installed.
