I use backtrack v2 and i can't locate file password.lst to load at aircrack-ng.
Can anyone help me please?
I try to locate it like this :
aircrack-ng -w password.lst

I need also some help to moun my usb flash drive so i can load the file from there.
Can i use both txt and lst files to load?Are both formats supported?

Ok i locate under /pentest/password/dictionaries/
a file wordlist.txt.Z
What does the .Z means?
Can i use the command like this?
aircrack-ng -w /pentest/password/dictionaries/wordlist.txt.Z *.cap

That took literally Results 1 - 10 of about 1,690,000 for gunzip. (0.15 seconds)
Can you post here the command to extract the wordlist.txt.Z
as plain txt on the :
/pentest/password/dictionaries/
I search but i don't know many thinks about linux sorry.
