Those screen shots are too small to see, you should reupload them. Also you can try VMware Player or VirtualBox, they have been tested and Backtrack runs without any issues on both.
As the title suggests, I am attempting to run Backtrack 4 R2 on my powerbook g4 using an older application called Virtual PC, an x86_64 emulator. I figured that the emulator would be able to run it so I tried. I am receiving error messages and I can't make sense of them. Can somebody help me out? btw, running in Start Backtrack Framebuffer (800x600)
Pictures for reference

Of course, if you really wanted to have some fun, go to Wal-Mart late at night and ask the greeter if they could help you find trashbags, roll of carpet, rope, quicklime, clorox and a shovel. See if they give you any strange looks. --Streaker69

that "usually" happens when you`re using big monitor with an old graphics card. Try deleting some of the highest resolutions of the deepest colour mode in the screen section of xorg.conf, or even the whole last display subsection.
Cant be bothered for the rest of the images...
If anything can go wrong, it will....
1. Boot the bt4 cd
2. On the startup-screen navigate to "... in Safe Graphical Mode" and press "e".
3. On the "kernel" option press "e" again. Use "backspace" to delete the "quiet" option and press "Enter".
4. Press "b" to boot.
5. Ignore the display bugs when loading...
6. Wait some time for bt4 to start just as if it normally does.
7. Type "startx" (..even if you do not see what u are typing.) and press "Enter"
X will work!
