Hey hopefully I can get some help. I've been at this all day. I have multiple drives (sda, sdb) and I installed backtrack4-r2 today using a Live CD. Configured the installation to use the entire second drive. Grub loads BackTrack 4 fine. When I try to run my other linux distro, i get: error 15: file not found.
My old distro was using kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.35-25-generic to start. I have automatically "upgraded" to vmlinuz-220.127.116.11. Is there a way i can get a vmlinuz-2.6.35-25-generic kernel and place it in my /boot folder to run my old distro? or is it possible to use the new kernel to open the distro that is on sda?
Sorry if my explanation doesn't have many details. I'm fairly new but if you need more info I will find it. Any ideas on how to get my old distro to dual boot alongside BackTrack4?
