looks like you havent started mysql
if you run into java problems make sure your java is uptodate

Install missing dependency

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install libmysql-ruby1.8
sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jre sun-java6-plugin sun-java6-fonts
