Is it possible to get the effects from Ubuntu into Backtrack? Or download Ubuntu Themes?

Just my 2 cents, why not actually install Ubuntu with all your effects and run Backtrack in a virtual environment ?
Backtrack is a Pentesting distribution, it wasn't made to have special effects or something else, most of those won't work and you also have the change to mess Backtrack up by installing these and after that happens we will not help you anymore.

If it is that troublesome then I'll use VM for BT. Thank you.
If you see some of the earlier vids by pureh@te you will see some similar effects, so I am pretty sure you will be
able to accomplish some 'kewl' effects with the current version, however as Sickness stated, it is not what BT is
intended for, so any inadequecies / by products will probably not include much help here..
Having said that, eye-candy is something all of us like, so go for it, and let us know what works and what does not.
