hi,
i showed bt r2 iso to vmware and booted as a live dvd. I tried to install it on the vmwares virtual disk by the install script on the desktop , i have gone far some steps but got an error at the end and the instalation didnt finished
the installation needs to commit changes to partion changes but cannot do because
partitions could not be unmonted
/
please close any applications using these mount points.
would you like the installer to try to unmount these partitions again.
this brings a loop. any idea?

I had some problems using the mounted iso so I downloaded it again and burned it to a disk and installed it from the CD/DVD rom and it worked. I think in my case it was a bad download.
I assume it is, also you can try VMware Player or VirtualBox, depending on your preferences, but of them should work.is vmware workstation v7.1.2.3015 suitable for Backtrack 4 R2 VMware installer?
