Hi there,

I have been using Ubuntu for some time now and today i have been trying to switch form Ubuntu 10.9 to the New Backtrack 4 R2, I downloaded the ISO Burned it to a DVD and all was good, until i got to the Startx part,

I have tried:
Fix-vesa
fixvesa
nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf (Here the file is empty which i guess is the problem )

Further to this when i run the Xorg -configure i get:
"The Number of created screens does not match number of detected devices.
Configuration failed."

i also tried the command to set the dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg but still nothing

The Laptop I have is The Dell XPS 15 Intel Core i5 with Nvidia GeForce GT 420M 1024MB Dedicated VGA and 4GB Ram

And pls don't send hate i have Googled this problem Searched all the Linux forums and none of the suggestions work basically all they tell you to do are the steps i already did

Thanks and Regards
Oliver (Destruction)
