Default DoS Attack using tools in backtrack

    Hi, all
    I'm new to backtrack

Searched that it can do SYN flood, fin flood, ping of death. How about other types of DoS attack, Teardrop, LAND, SMURF, SNORK. Does backtrack have any tools to do these kinds of DoS attack? if has, could you show me the command line for each attack?

    Thanks!!!

    Yes it does.

The tools you are looking for are called Python, VI and brain.

Isn't here where we're supposed to say something along the lines of DoS is not normally required for pentesting? ::P

    I agree.

DoS is not as rewarding or fun as using Metasploit in Backtrack. You can watch very helpful videos in the following thread, and I'm sure you will find more interesting things to do other than DoS attacks.
