Create a Linux Backdoor

Hello i have seen a lot of information about get remote control of a linux OS. I get remote control with a payload shell but now that i have the meterpreter console of a linux machine i want to know how to create a backdoor to connect to the remote PC always i want.

I know it is very simple on windows because it is just upload and execute a rojan or just run the persistende script of meterpreter.

But how can i create a backdoor on linux to get again the meterpreter console when the remote restart???
