Keyboard lags and glitches. Lag doesn't occur when the touchpad is touched (Acer 260)

As the title states, my keyboard lags and is glitchy, but it starts responding normally whenever the touchpad is touched. This doesn't happen when it boots windows, and only starts after 'startx' is run. Anyone know what the issue most likely is?

I just did a clean reinstall of BT4 R2 on my USB, and it still gives the same issues. Could it be because I used a different computer to install BT to a persistant USB? Any way I could mod x.org settings, as I only get the issue when the GUI kicks in.

Fixed!

Apparently it was mouseemu causing issues, so I used update-rc.d to remove all calls to mouseemu, works like a charm now
