Can you describe the steps you took to generate the keys for the ssh server and start it up, and also any troubleshooting steps you have performed?
Unable to access Backtrack R1 using putty on XP
Folks!
I have been using backtrack for more than a year now. I have a small network at home and recently installed BT R1 on a VMware instance (on XP). The issue is when I try to ssh it using putty from other machines I fail; error msg says: "Network Error: Connection refused". Quite frustrating, am living with this for 5 days now
Any help, comments will be appreciated.
