boot backtrack 2.0 from disk

Hello I have installed bt 2 on disk c. When I install I choose real and leave the source feild blank then when i reboot my computer I can log in as root but when I enter (startx) the system loads and then it stands error something and then Ill try the atoher commands but they say error as well. Please help
