    Default tp-link tl-wn321g external usb wifi adapter not working in backtrack

    bt noob here
    i just bought tp-link tl-wn321g usb wifi router when i connect it to my machine and type airmon-ng no interface is found i removed device many times and tried again and again but no success.
    i am running bt4 beta vmware image
    my host operating system is win7 ultimate
    vmware version is 6.5.3
    wifi adapter is tl-wn321g (it is listed as compatible adapters on MOD EDIT: Removed link ...
    i also tried to run airmon-ng on live cd of bt3 but no interfaces found there too
    is there is any driver i need to install or some thing else
    please help

    Well people say it works out of the box. I suggest you download the latest Backtrack release from over here: Downloads « BackTrack Linux – Penetration Testing Distribution it has better wireless support, also next time use the search function of the forum:
