    just mount your Windows partition.

In windows check what the vmnet adapter IP address is using command prompt.

In backtrack vmware set your IP address in the same range e.g. if it's 192.168.80.1 set backtrack to something like 192.168.80.2 (I think netmask is 255.255.255.0)
You should be able to ping the windows IP now.

I've got a share on my windows machine that I use for transferring files, so in backtrack I would go to smb://192.168.80.1/MYSHARE in a folder and then I can just copy between the two.

Might be an easier way to do it but that works fine for me.

You can use a usb or an external hdd and connect it to backtrack.
Or install Vmware Tools if your running the virtual machines.
This allows to drag and drop files from from the host and virtual machine.
