Hello.
I am new to the BT Forum, but I have already found a wealth of information on the forum, but nothing pertaining to my issue.

First of all I have I have Ubuntu 10.10 installed and Windows 7. I know that Ubuntu uses Grub 2, so I should not install the BT4 bootloader.

Now I currently do not have a 2GiB USB drive, nor a blank DVD available. So I am trying to use UNetbootin and booting from my hdd. It works and I can start BT4 in a "live" environment. After using:
Code:
startx
I get the GUI. then I proceed to start "install.sh" everything is fine until I have to find a disk/partition. It shows nothing at all. Also in my BIOS I have AHCI enabled and would like to keep it enabled because of my sata hdd.

My curent partitioning table looks like:
Partition.......................File System

/dev/sda1....................NTFS...................... .WIndows 7 emergency bootloader/utils
/dev/sda2....................NTFS...................... .Windows 7 partition
/dev/sda3....................extended.................. extended
/dev/sda8....................swap...................... ..I set this up for BT
/dev/sda7....................reiserfs.................. ...I ser this up for BT
/dev/sda5....................ext4...................... ...Ubuntu 10.10
/dev/sda4....................Swap...................... .Encypted swap for Ubuntu

So In the installer I can not see my hdd or partions, but if I launch GParted it sees the partition.
So how can I install BT?
