can't boot, only get a black screen

Hi, I have a "Hp pavilion zv6000" Notebook and I was able to boot Backtrack 1.0
smoothly but when i try to boot backtrack 2 after I hit Enter at boot i can see it loads but after de second line all i get is a black screen, I've tried waiting for 10 minutes and nothing hapends, i also tried every boot paremeter i could find and all i get is the black screen.
my notebook has a "ATI MOBILITY RADEON Xpress 200 Series" video card
I'm not shure if the video card is the problem but if it is, is there any way to
replace the video drivers on BT2 with the ones from Backtrack 1.0 ??

well I dont know but dont you need to press "bt" with out the "" before press enter at boot screen? (if you talk about the live cd)

and othervise i got the same problem (if you meaning when you type "startx" i tested to type ati (and it worked) :P

I DOnt know a sh*T but anyway it might be at your help

Here is the command to boot the ZV6000 : bt no hotplug acpi=off

i have the same problem i have a vaio with centrino duo, the command in this post dont work, if i put it or just bt the computer show the first screen with loading write and than IT REBOOT!
someone have other command to propose?
