How did you put bt4 to usb stick, did you use unetbootin or some other tools or did you persistent install?

first off i'm new to the fourms and BT so hi!so um....yea i put BT in a flash drive and i'm doing live boot on my laptop and once i get to the home screen everything is fine but once i start putting in commands it lags like theres no tomarrow...now my laptop is a amd dual core 2.0+ processor and has 3gb of ram...on win vista it's running ok but on linux it should be fst butinstead it lags and at random points it just shuts off (only when using BT) so any ideas why this is? oh also the video lags...

ya i used unetbootin and installed the iso from the download page

are you at point where you type "startx" or after that?

What brand of USB stick are you using...I have had issues with some brands. The just are slow for whatever reason. Can you try another USB stick to remove the stick as an issue?

sounds like it might be an xorg or ati (i'm assuming your AMD chip came with an ati graphics card, if not then you can disregaurd my comment altogether) driver problem, check to make sure you have the most recent ati drivers installed

I'm facing the same case with you , I'm using Accer laptop , 2 processors and 4GB ram , I can't find out why BT will lag ? Is that a problem with battery ? But I using "Performance" plan , not "Power Saving"
