    Default Change Root Password

Is there a way to change the root password for the user account root? and or the password for root access? i'd like not to have anyone who touches my PC be able to login to backtrack2 cause the pass and username is displayed...

coo coo, but what about the default command line screen? how do you make that not show all that stuff like 'login as root and toor'? is there a way to edit the content on that screen or just have it go straight to a command line only?

Not sure...but if you change your password, that stuff really doesn't matter. I just leave it be...
