I have a broadcom 4306 wireless card as eth1, i can sniff wep and access points with airodump-ng and i can find the wireless network i have but it is WPA and it says it is WEP. So i have three questions since i am a noob to linux.
How do i connect to an open access point?
How do i connect to WPA?
How do i connect to WEP?

You can find a wpa connection script here. I'm not sure if the wext driver will work with broadcom chipsets, but it's worth a shot. Let me know how it turns out. Oh, and since the wep instructions seem to have disappeared here's a link to Xatar's
