Is my laptop compatible with backtrack?

I've searched google and the forums for help but could not find what I needed. I tried /etc/init.d/networking start and all the other things but nothing shows up. i have a Compaq with Windows 7. It has a Realtek RTL8191SE 802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter. I'm using Bt4 on my usb. Any help? If you need more info just tell me what you need. (I am new)
