I'm not that familiar with linux but I thought that I had the hang of it until now...
I installed new ATI drivers to support multiple monitors and it worked out great.
I also wanted to upgrade my sound drivers and since it was really easy with the Display drivers I thought what could go wrong? So I went over to realtek.com.tw and downloaded sound drivers for linux.
I installed them and now I have no sound anymore! (It worked before I installed the realtek drivers)
I've tried running some terminal commands which I found at other forums but they all gave me 0 sound cards! So nothing to go with...
My laptop is an Acer Aspire 5536.
Running BackTrack 4 R2 and Windows 7.
I hope someone can help me out!
Since no one posted. I've decided to reinstall backtrack.
