Does arpreplay really work with ipw2200?
I tried nearly every option with only one result.
I looked up http://backtrack.offensive-security....reless#IPW2200
and see that aireplay istn working.
But how can i make a injection?
one time i got a positive result but i wasnt able to rebuild it .
I tried it from a tutorial and made it like this.
rmmod ipw2200
modprobe ipw2200 rtap_iface=1
iwconfig eth1 essid default channel 6 key 11111
airodump-ng --bssid APrmac --ivs –c Channelnumber –w ipw rtap0
aireplay-ng -3 –b APMAC –h clientmac –x 1024 –g –i rtap0
eth1
then it worked really fine and i received many arpreplies and IV packets.
But i couldnt do it again.i tried the same but it doesnt work and i get again only 1 or 2 Arp replies
Im really frustrated . i try it since 5 days and dont get further.

I am having the same issue but there are people on here saying that they have got it working but not saying how!
I got it sometimes working weel but i couldnt find a reeason why?And i could not rebuilt this situation.

can you clarify a little more what you exactly did. I also have a IPW2200 and i havent been able to inject packets.
What i have read is that the adapter needs to be associated with any AP to inject packets to another AP.
Did you associate your card with the AP you aree trying to crack the key from (thisd would be very unrealistic) or are you associating with another AP in the area? Let me know!
Also, do you use one or two laptops? If you are associating with an AP you cant have it in monitor mode cant you? so you use two cards? one to monitor the traffic, and one to inject packets?

because when i want to inject packets i need to put the adapter in monitor mode and while im in monitor mode i can associate.
this sounds confusing to me. can someone explain?
