So when I install to disk, I cannot subsequently start either flux or X. When I use this as a Live CD I do not have the problem. I would tell you the exact error but it's running currently and I don't wish to stop it in the middle of its' task.

The additional problem I have with using the Live CD is that there is not enough space for a large dump file. Is there any parameter that can be set initially that would allow for a larger dynamic space?

By the way, this is a fantastic compilation. Particularly for those of us who are LINUX challenged.
