I edited my menu entry to have the program run in the terminal and it is working for me. Right-click volatility, select Edit Item and place a check mark in Run in Terminal. It starts 'python volatility'

Updated and installed Volatility. It's in the Forensic Analysis section, but will not start? Am I missing anything.

Sorry about this guys, when I made the package I somehow must have included the wrong (unmodified) desktop file.
I have submitted a fixed version which should hit the repo fairly soon.
