    Default Unable to enable persistance

    I've been trying to enable persistence on Backtrack 4 R1 using a USB drive, following the How-To supplied here Backtrack 4 – USB/Persistent Changes/Nessus

    After I completed the tutorial and attempted to start backtrack 4 with persistance turned on after repeating

    sd 6:0:0:0: [sdb] Assuming drive cache: write through

    three times (which it normally does) it hits a strange error with my cdrom.
    The error looks like this:

    hda: cdrom_decode_status: status=0x51 { DriveReady SeekComplete Error }
    hda: cdrom_decode_status: error=0x40 { LastFailedSense=0x04 }
    hda: possibly failed opcode: 0xA0

    It then proceeds to repeat that error indefinitely making no progress. If I run backtrack without persistance everything works great, but trying to enable it always ends like this.

    The MD5 of the iso I torrented for Backtrack 4 R1 from Downloads | BackTrack Linux - Penetration Testing Distribution
    is
    f393714a97862398ec2eaba1a5157784

    Anyway, any ideas?
