gigantic fonts

hi, I've installed bt4 r1 on 3 vmware machines and I had no such problem with any of them.

I set new BT4 R1 on my desktop vmware and somehow all system fonts are GIGANTIC. Not sure but they look like 22-24 to me. All browsers (firefox, konq), all system windows, menus, titles are huge.

I checked System/Settings/Appearance&Themes/Fonts and all fonts there are set to 10. Funny thing is even when I change them, lets say to 4, there is no visible difference. I tried default also, no difference.

I'd appreciate some help.

Sounds like you have a problem with your VMware display settings.

it must have been couse after googling for 4 hours I uninstalled fonts and installed custom ones, it changed nothing so I threw that damn v machine away, copied one of few early snapshots of earlier installs and all works fine
