Does Airodump have a lower threshold for recieve sensitivity than kismet?

I am just curious. When I am a decently far distance from an AP. Kismet will pick it up, where-as airodump will not (using the same card with the same settings, obviously). Is there a way to change Airodump's sensitivity threshold?

I really don't mean to bump but I too am experiencing this issue and would like a solution. If you have one please inform the both of us. Thank you.
