    Default Blacklisting drivers help please...

Hi, i have been tearing my hair out all day over this.

Firstly is there a way to reverse all the blacklisting i did using this method:

    Quote:
    nano /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist
    Quote:
    blacklist rtl8187

Secondly, how the hell do you blacklist individual drivers???

I cannot find the folder to place my blacklists in:

    /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist

I have ran out of ideas, this is the first time i have used backtrack.

You might want to read the new to Linux sticky thread in the Beginners forum, BackTrack is definitely not suited to those who don't already have some Linux knowledge.

Id suggest you start off by learning how to manage and edit files in the filesystem, because that's exactly what you have been doing, even though you don't appear to realise it. Maybe even Google for "linux driver blacklist" and read some of the entries, so you get a better appreciation for what those commands you have run actually accomplished.
Capitalisation is important. It's the difference between "Helping your brother Jack off a horse" and "Helping your brother jack off a horse".

The Forum Rules, Forum FAQ and the BackTrack Wiki... learn them, love them, live them.

It doesn't look like you're thinking at all. Removing a module isn't rocket science. Have you heard of Google? Try entering a phrase that relates to your problem.
