Might be worth having NeXpose & MetaSploit Express (trial) pre-installed and configured properly.
Trying to run NeXpose and Nessus/MetaSploit together can be a bit challenging, especially when having to manage the postgres in the background between them![]()
We also cannot include nexpose currently for the same reason we do not include nessus
Duly noted...
The only issue is that installing them manually tends to break a few dependencies OR makes it hard to integrate them into MetaSploit for data gathering...
I've become somewhat dependant on using BT for my classes, and I use both Nessus and NexPose for my student's labs for vulnerability assessment - to contrast them, since none of big ones (including OpenVAS which is installed) seem to give exactly the same response. Helps to drive the "use the right tool for the intended job" axiom home![]()
