    Default HTTP Router Exploiting

Heya. I don't know if even topic title is correct

I came up something interesting today for the first time. Nessus reported successful login to a web page on port 80 using default u/p.

But since, I never did this kind of thing, I don't know how to do it? Nessus doesn't say WHERE and HOW it authed.

So, what do I need to do to login to that Router via port 80? I tried few tools I thought would work but nada.

Can anyone enlighten this situation a bit?

    Thanks in advance!

How do you normally log into the website?

login to a web page on port 80 using default u/p.
I'm no expert, but wouldn't that suggest that it used a default username and password, such as...

    admin
    password

Now, seeing as you're scanning your own network (right?), you can tell me whether your router is set up with the default u/p, or whether you have changed it.
