    Default Startup script running

I just installed BT4 on another laptop I have. After getting it finally hard drive installed, I start to notice that on every boot up for some reason it starts Firefox and shell. I find it just interesting why it does this? I am trying to stop it and do a clean start-up like my other laptops do.

I originally thought it was just starting the programs I had open on the last time I shut the machine down but no Firefox and Shell start every time KDE comes up.

Try closing down the programs that are opening up at startup , then click on logout NOT poweroff ,, then type in startx , it will restart without them opening up ,, then poweroff as normal ....best of luck ...
