    Default VirtualBox ping request timed out

    Hope you can help.
    I have a VirtualBox running Backtrack 4 R1 on my Windows 7 machine. I have started the network service. I am trying to ping IP address 10.0.2.15 from Windows 7 to BT4 on VirtualBox and showing request timed out but ping ok from BT to Windows 7 address 192.168.1.102. I have temporarly disabled the firewall. Any idea why?

    Change the settings from NAT to bridge in virtulbox. Will solve your problem!
