Hi Guys,
Downloaded and burned a copy of BackTrack 2 onto a CD.
I boot the CD on my Dell Latitude D820, login with root/toor.
When I type xconf or startx, I get a command not found.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Hello,
CD is not damaged....
I checked the MD5 checksum of the ISO, it was correct.
Any other ideas?
I am seeing this on 2 computers now.
Dell D820 and a Acer Desktop.
It works fine on a Dell 500m
Thanks!
Try reburning the CD at a slow speed or with a diffrent burnig program. I have problems burning it with nero. Then i used ultraiso and it worked great.
The CD may of been fine to start with but obviously when you have more than 1 pc with the same error I would start to look at the CD as being the cause.
