Question Capturing data to get MAC

Hey there, I'm wondering if it is possible to capture a wi-fi data via backtrack and to gain mac adresses of clients? Airodump-ng and then some kind of command maybe? Any ideas?

kismet does that pretty well and passively as well, kismet will show available networks, encryption level as well ap and clients attached to it, it will also show how many packets sent to the ap from each mac and how much data is sent. read this
    Kismet
kismet is also installed in bt4 and r1

Kismet does that, and I'm pretty sure you can also see the mac addresses if you open a dump with wireshark
