Need help with a very specific wordlist [stkeys]

I'm still working on my partition, so i'm unable to see if the lst file needs any further filtering (in ex.: remove SSID's), but if it needs, just use L517 in windows to do it, or wait a couple of days, and i'll post a clean file. In alternative, just use the 2004-2009 clean file previously posted and follow Snayler instructions to merge and clean duplicate files.

I've tried Snayler's code modification and that works just great! Just tested it with my 2010 Thomson router and the key was there!
Tho the file I created with Snaylers mod was only 25.5 MB (2 426 116 words), could you double check your file size Snaylor? 2.2MB of words is quite a lot, just want to make sure I didn't mess something up.

Nice! Snaylor mod's puts us 2 steps ahead, not just for 2010, but also for upcoming 2011 and so on..

Apparently your previous wordlist was only 2004-2009.. but that's not a problem anymore!

Have you checked with the app developer if your correction is ok? Also, are u sure jonathan wordlist is from 2004 to 2010? After reading what u said, it seems the wordlist it's only 2004-2009.. unless he also changed the app.. Right?

Yes, if jonathan also changed the app, his wordlist will also have 2010 keys. I prefer to have year specific wordlists because running a 3/4/5/etc... year wordlist will take a long time, and since I have access to the router, I know the year it was made so, no need to waste time.

BTW, each password is already unique, so no need to remove duplicates.

Can u post a torrent/hxxp from the file created?

I'm planning on releasing a app for this (insert year, get wordlist), but since I'm using the wifipassreminder source code, I have to speak with the author of the app to ask him if it is ok, and to ask him a little help because I messed with python for the fisrt time yesterday, so my coding skills should still be really bad

The final 2010 wordlist will have 29,113,344 Bytes and it's MD5 checksum should be 9BE37E5C3ACE5B76E03D3485017252CB.

Thomson guys shouldn't be so lazy while fixing their problems

Ok, I must have mixed my wordlists. Here are the real values:
Size: 27.7Mb (29,113,344 bytes)
Size on disk: 27.7Mb (29.114.368 bytes)
MD5: 9BE37E5C3ACE5B76E03D3485017252CB (fixed in my last post).

I'm in BackTrack while running the code.
I compared the files using cmp:

root@bt:~# cmp TheThomsonWordlist.lst file.lst
TheThomsonWordlist.lst file.lst differ: char 11, line 1

If I do

comm -3 TheThomsonWordlist.lst file.lst

That basically spits out the two files in two different columns.
I've opened them both up in kate, same amount of lines in them, and they look identical.
Too be sure both is working I ran them in pyrit with a cap from my network and both files finds my key after the same amount of PMKs;

Tried 2080104 PMKs so far; 7742 PMKs per second.

The password is 'CD1CB45DB6'.

Must be because we are using different systems to generate the wordlist. Char 11 is a "return" character, which I believe it's different in both systems (if I open a linux text file in windows, "return" will appear as an actual character [black rectangle, white circle in the middle] instead of changing the line). That may be why your file is 2.2Mb short. Well, as long as they have the same number of passwords, I guess it's ok.

Hi fellaz,

well well, I have a database of routers i have pentested with keys and checked both original .lst output and snaylers 2010 changes from wifipassreminder in windoze and.....

So far every key is there albeit wep, the original output finds some old BTHomeHubs keys and the new changed output 2010 finds new thomson keys everytime. Will now work with some wpa aps with handshakes to test .lst im hoping this will be the one for wpa lists if so its all good. Keep up the good work guys
