Version 1.1.0 of ZAP has now been released.

This release adds the following main features:

OWASP rebranding
Brute Force scanner c/o the OWASP DirBuster project
Port scanner
Active Scan tab
Enhancements to the Spider tab
Smartcard support c/o Andiparos
A new 'Attack' menu
More internationalization (all main tabs and menu items)
Localization: Brazilian Portuguese, German, Polish and Spanish

Be great if you could include this latest version in the next BackTrack release.

It is also a good idea to provide a link for us. It makes our job easier.

Just had a look at bt4rc2.
I was expecting to see zap1.0.0 as it was added in revision 695, but I cant see it anywhere.
Did it not make it in?

The tool is in the repos. I personally packaged it.
# apt-cache search zaproxy
One also needs to remember that we can not include every single tool passed our way onto the BT .iso itself. Or else it would grow to big to even fit on a single DVD.

On a related note, the dev team has made a customization tutorial that allows people to add/ remove whatever they need/want and build their own iso.
