hi,
you could try using wvdial for that kind of connection.
you will need to make a config file that wvdial will use, it should look like the following:
just fill your settings accordingly and give it a go.Code:[Dialer Defaults] Init1 = ATZ Init2 = ATQ0 V1 E1 +FCLASS=0 Modem Type = USB Modem ISDN = 0 Phone = *99# Modem = /dev/ttyACM0 Username = ####### Password = ####### #Baud = 460800 Baud = 921600 DialCommand = ATDT FlowControl = NOFLOW Stupid Mode = 1 Init3 = AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","internet"
right now i'm online via usb-gprs
p.s.: getting that info above just took 10 minutes of google-ing

I have had absolutely zero success using wicd to get online with my internal HS-USB WWAN modem.
As long as qcserial is not present, & no firmware handler available to load the firmware to the modem, which needs to be switched from USB Storage to USB Modem, my WWAN modem will not work at all...
Is there any plan to upgrade the kernel to 2.6.32 > ?
No amount of web-searching will rectify this issue until qcserial is included in the kernel.
I have a firmware loader app, I have the firmware, but I'm not going to compile the kernel on a netbook just to get up to date modules!
Perhaps there's a more recent kenel for BT 4 pre that I might be able to use?
