How to install net framework in Backtrack 4 R1 ?

Hi !

My mind is to add more tools to my Backtrack. I want to install some file recovery software but the problem is that they require to have net framework.
I tried to install it but i receive errors. Any idea how to fix that ?

Search for "winetricks" on google, that should do it

Commands are as follow:

sh winetricks corefonts dotnet20
And finally:

sh winetricks fakeie6

I get this error:

After that, i restarted the system and the error i get is this:

wine cmd.exe /c echo '%ProgramFiles%' returned empty string

I do not want to make programming in VB.NET. I want to install a security scanner which is asking me to have installed net framework first.
Any idea ?

Why not just use BT in Forensics mode?

If you want Windows tools why not use Windows?

I have to agree with thorin on this, if you need Windows tools just use Windows but ... you said that you want to add more tools to Backtrack but I can't think of any, I mean Backtrack has everything you need ...
