Broadcomm Support in New BT4RC1

I searched the forums and I saw that SOME of the Broadcomm Wireless Network Cards are supported and some are not supported with BackTrack. I have a Broadcom 4322AG 802.11a/b/g/draft-n Wi-Fi Adapter on my HP DV4 laptp and while I saw a post
here on the BackTrack Forums, I believe, but may be mistaken, that I saw on here that there were 'test' or developmental drivers that would allow these model cards to work. Can anyone let me know if I'm wrong, and I probably am.

If worse comes to worse, I guess I'll just have to see if I can find what other wireless cards are compatible so I can add it through the PCIMIA slot because I don't have enough money for a new laptop with an Atheros card in it.

I would not get my expectations too high regarding Broadcom WNIC's. Some may work, but most of them won't.

Do you mean PCMCIA?

Don't you have USB ports? Why going into PCMCIA?
Or, buy a internal card on-line and change it yourself (it's not too hard and they are cheap).

Well now that broadcom have release source code, or opened up their drivers things may get better in the future. But in the meantime it's still probably best to get a different card.

The support is far from great. I can be right beside my router and it will report 40% signal and I will get according speed in both Ubuntu 10.04LTS & Backtrack 4 R1 with the 4312 card.
