only problem I found or have seen is, when it scans for AP's if the SSID has a space in it, it will display like the following.

SSID: "A Test"

1.TestAP
2.TestME
3.A -generates incorrect MAC
4.Test -generates correct MAC

EDIT: Just tried out the "Hidden SSID" support, it works flawlessly.
The update option updates the script even when it's up-to-date.

is there any reason why, the scanner doesn't show all the AP's Airodump-ng shows?


Also can I add a request to your next update, to do the following:

when the script executes the airodump-ng (window) on that particular AP and there are no DATA packets coming in, assuming we want to start over.

Instead of hitting CTRL+C on all the windows

when we hit CTRL+C tell the script to not to close completely but to resume at the re[s]can window... so we can choose a different AP. In stead of executing the whole script again.

That's because it (currently) doesn't use airodump-ng to do the scan! It uses iwlist, which only scans once whereas airodump-ng loops the scan.
I went with iwlist because:
> You don't have to the card in monitor mode to use it - whereas airodump-ng you do.
> If iwlist doesn't pick it up - good chance its a poor signal - and less chance of it being successfully cracked.
> I found in my testing, iwlist gave better results over airodump-ng with SHORT scans.
One day I may convert to airodump-ng....

yea thats tru, airodump-ng shows good and bad signals, so why not filter the bad ones out basically.
