In my view, you'd better install bt again and make sure you are in the right way.
If it's of nothing help, you may boot in with a live CD,then just edit the related files.
Everything works fine for me.Good Luck

Coherent sentences please.... I've come to the conclusion that the bootloader is install on the wrong partition, what partition is the right partition
How did you install BackTrack4? I find it best to boot up using a liveCD and then installing it from the GUI.
I'm triple booting win7, ubuntu, and bt4, and I've had no problems.
You should create a new partition for bt4. If you ever choose to use another linux distru, it's fine to use bt4's swap space for the distro. I recommend deleting the already-made partition for bt4 and making a new one for a fresh install.
PROBLEM SOLVED.
What i did was...
I booted into windows, using disk management erased all partitions having to do with linux, i then expanded my windows part to cover entire harddrive.
I believe my problem was caused by the following.
I used Unetbootin to install linux mint onto a flash drive. I then decided to swtich to backtrack and installed backtrack to the flashdrive using unetbootin without erasing all of the linux mint files. After reformatting the flash and reinstalling backtrack i booted flash and installed with a guided resize
