Hi all i am having some problems getting results with ./theHarvester.py in bt4 final

1.4 is old it may not work properly anymore new google and bing scrappers were added in 1.6.

I can confirm that TheHarvester Ver. 1.6 does return results with the usual ;

cd /pentest/enumeration/theharvester/
./theharvester.py -d hotmail.com -l 100 -b google

Hang on, I didnt think I updated it manually (other than using the usual apt-get update && apt-get upgrade) and the version I have installed is 1.6 ??

Either it came in with an apt-get update / upgrade or I am doing too much whilst having a few beers..

Thanks lads did apt-get upgrade and it updated a few things and got ver 1.6 etc and it works cheers btw tape, nice blog learnt a few bits from u.

Theharvester was indeed updated on your system. Look at your path pentest/enumeration/theharvester/ and the OP's /pentest/enumeration/google/theharvester
We moved it up one level out of google since it uses more than just google.
