Does that PC have two HDDs, and if yes, does one of HDD contain Linux partition?
post what fdisk -l shows you,
I booted BackTrack 4 R1 from USB...
then run GParted and it showed all right
hda
hda1 (NTFS)sda
hda2 (ext3)
sda1 (NTFS)sdb
sda2 (NTFS)
sda3 (NTFS)
sda4 (NTFS)
sdb1 (NTFS)
but when I run installation (install.sh)
it shows only
sda
sda1 (NTFS)sdb
sda2 (NTFS)
sda3 (NTFS)
sda4 (NTFS)
sdb1 (NTFS)
but I want to install on hda2

I unmounted hda2 (ext3) and then started install.sh, everything was ok and hda was displayed (both hda1, hda2)
So thanks anyway
PS. I have 3 physical hdd
