I have googled around to search for information about setting up my laptop as an accesspoint, but it looks like I have to give up getting this to work with an usb-card...

all the information I found was from 2005 though, so I wonder if anyone know if hostap today support any usb cards?

I was thinking about the D-Link 11Mbps USB (DWL-122) / 802.11b since it has the right chipset, but if this doesn't work it might be possible with Linksys WET11 Ethernet card? This one I however don't find in the net-shops...

anyone had success with setting up accesspoint using usb or similar? I don't have any card-slot in my laptop.
