Hello,
First of all, thanks everybody for the wonderful work here.
I'm a newbie and I will follow the simple rule I've seen many time here; learn ubuntu before backtrack.
But before I reinstall, I would like to know if there's a way to copy/save the wifi driver I'm curently using in backtrack to use it in ubuntu. Because all the documentation I found about my wifi card (broadcom4306) tell me it's unable to use the monitor mode or to inject packets. It was a surprise for me to discover I'm able to do both in backtrack. Thanks again guys.

Capitalisation is important. It's the difference between "Helping your brother Jack off a horse" and "Helping your brother jack off a horse".
The Forum Rules, Forum FAQ and the BackTrack Wiki... learn them, love them, live them.
Thanks for the quick awnser, will do so now, be back tomorrow...
If you said, it's easy, I would probably find it difficult to do but you said difficult so, what it mean to me is forget about it, at least for now.
I've found this in your old post:
http://www.backtrack-linux.org/forum...r-distros.html
So my solution would be to put BT4 on a usb stick and buy a Netgear Wg111v2 Usb Wifi Card or something like it and hope it will behave in ubuntu as well as it does in BT4.
