I just got back to testing and I got bind9 to do all dns lookups to us.
here is how to do it:

Code:
nano /etc/bind/named.conf.default-zones
zone "." {
type master;
file "/etc/bind/db.home.com";
};
Code:
nano /etc/bind/db.home.com
$TTL 604800
@ IN SOA ns.home.com. root.home.com. (
6444666 ; Serial
604800 ; Refresh
86400 ; Retry
2419200 ; Expire
604800 ) ; Negative Cache TTL
;
@ IN NS 192.168.1.1
IN A 192.168.1.1
* IN A 192.168.1.1
Code:
/etc/init.d/bind9 restart
