Ok, new question:
When I batch the database with the new password added to it, does this mean it is going to recompute every password in the db..? or will it only need to compute the new one?
Hello everyone.
I have successfully added the cowpatty file to my airolib-ng database and am able to test keys at about 40,000 k/s. Apparently the password for my testing ap was not in the db though. I would like to manually add my password to the db.
I have tried using:
but I must be doing it wrong.Code:echo mypassword | airolib-ng <database> --import passwd
I get "You must specifiy[sic] an import format and a file."
I have searched and I cannot find very much info on this. Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers.
edit:
Ok figured it out.
I'll delete this thread now and go back to lurking.Code:echo mypassword | airolib-ng <database> --import passwd -

Thanks for taking the time to post the solution to the problem.
so few do, but it makes it that much easier on the next person... (as well as being really gratifying for the one that tells the next person to search the damn forums!)...
