AP Channel Hopping Problem

Hi, is there a command to limit the amount of packets i am sending using Aircrack-ng? im currently pushing out around 500pps to a WEP protected network and the AP keeps hopping between Channel 7 & 11 i believe this is a term known as DoS denial of service.. due to too much packets and AP is overloading, any help would be very much appreciated
