Have you tried using public proxies ? Or just that one ?
Heya guys, I have been wanting to get proxychains working for some time now, and followed sickn3ss's tutorial which is very very good, and everything is working perfectly it seems until the point I need to run proxyresolv "domain name"
This is the output I get |D-chain|-<>-127.0.0.1:9050-<>-126.96.36.199:3128-<<>-188.8.131.52:53-<--denied
I knwo that proxy is working perfectly as when I manually inserted it into Firefox it works no probs! I have changed my networking from NAT to Bridges on the VM. Input a DNS server into resolv.conf that I know is correct. I have also tried to edit the proxychains.conf so that there is only Dynamic_Chain available with no luck (as Im unsure how to select which chain you want to use).
If someone could please point me in the right direction even I would appreciate it. I have read elsewhere that its something to do with port forwarding but its a DNS port so dont see how?!
Thanks for the help peeps
Oh and another thing, I was considering it might be TOR but it seems that TOR is up and running when I checked it... So yeah right now!
I have tried a couple of them, tried a few from different sites, it seems when I run proxyresolv it goes past the proxy no probs and from the proxy to 184.108.40.206 its denied.... But then sometimes proxyresolv keeps running and then test each one out, so from 127.0.0.1 -> 220.127.116.11 OK and they all seem fine... I am considering its TOR maybe but need this sorted out today, lol!
Ok after you helped me today its working like a bomb!
Seems like it was picking up the backup I had of proxychains.conf on my desktop :P But after I used yours, VOILA its working, although I cannot connect to specific sites and others take poo long, its WORKING! Sickn3ss for president, thanks bud
